Christmas Day was here, and I woke feeling sick!! I was to meet my daughter in Houston, about a two and one-half
hours' drive away; there was no way I'd be able to drive feeling like I did. I napped for a bit, then got up, and started playing some music: a Scottish bagpipes CD. I listened to the first two, just lying around. Then, Scotland the Brave started [playing, and did I ever feel ebergized---it was amazing. My headache seemed to
disappear and I had so much energy. Shortly later, I packed my car for the trip, and went on my way. If we could just bottle the effect this music has!!

Wow, I wish I would have tried that! I was in bed all Christmas with the flu...
Do you also love bagpipe music? I think it has something very magical, deep and roaring, but with a touch of melancholy.
