That's a nice website! The only thing it lacks are sound clips!

And i saw your pic, too!!!

I hope to build a website soon. Right now though i have too much going on to take on another project.

And i was right! You were being modest about your musical abilities... you've done a lot of professional playing so you must have some talent!

ah there are a few clips on the 'discography' page. however you can hear plenty of songs on http://www.soundclick.com/iansimpson or http://www.mp3.com/iansimpson or maybe even http://www.artistlaunch.com/iansimpson (although i think the last one may have expired), oh there's http://www.garageband.com/iansimpson too.

not modest, just lucky!

WOW! I'm impressed!

Do you ever play Scottish reels (i'm not sure i'm spelling that right) on the fiddle? My brother does, and they are challenging but quite lovely.

Yeah, I also play around on guitar, it's such a cool instrument. I play scottish music out of books since during the school year i don't have time to go to jams. the same with irish music and american fiddling. i do go to fiddle contests. who is your brother? does he record with groups or anything?

aberdeen (and no doubt other towns/cities in scotland) has a proliferation of folk clubs, if you ever fancy a jaunt over here you'll find plenty of places to play/enjoy music.

Hi Ian, hi KT, ...sorry i haven't been around much the last couple of days, i've just been busy doing things.

That would be great if KT could jam in Scotland! I'd be happy just to sit at a table and listen.
