I wasn't a Johnny Cash fan myself, but his version of Nine Inch Nails 'Hurt' was by far the best record that's been released this year.

Talking R.I.P Johnny Cash

I just loved Johnny Cash and all that he stood for.
loved his songs "Walk the Line" and the rest. Do
you know why he wore black all the time? This was
to symbolize his recognition for the poor and
oppressed not only the Deep South of USA but everywhere.
He represented the poor man's struggle in a way,and
in spite of his personal misgivings, drugs etc. he
attempted to deliver his message by way of song. I
think he did it splendidly. R.I.P. Johnny Cash

Re: R.I.P Johnny Cash

Well, Johnny Cash is the music that made dad and me buddies. It's just the right thing to pull you up again when you are all out of power. Was a shock to hear that he died. Really.
