They have often visited the States... BUT the fact that they talk in broad Scots may mean that their appeal is fairly limited

I love sunshine on Leith too....

I've seen them live about 15 times... Some of their songs just reduce me to tears...

I think they are bollocks! I remember when they first appeared way back in the late 1980's, they were like some godawful novelty act, like the kind of people who might sing in a pub or something. I just assumed they would have their quarter of an hour in the sun, then return to obscurity. But no! They have just remained, still as geeky and uncool as ever, but now looking pretty much permenant. Even if they make no more records, they have could still earn a fair living on the nostalgia circuit.

Not to everyone's taste then?? LOL

I think that because they're not cool and even a bit cheesy, that's why a lot of people like them, well I know that's why I like them. As well as the fact that I do actually enjoy listening to them.

Proclamiers

How can anyone think the proclamiers are crap, how come at Murryfield they always play @I'm Gonnae Be(500 miles)' when scotland scores a try, I should know been there & a load o Scottish school children cannae be wrong !
