They play rock. In many ways they remind me of REM. There is a media section on their website where you can hear clips of their songs.

Uhh goody! I love listening to samples. REM are quite good, but there are better rock bands. Do you know of Runrig? Or The Real MacKenzies?

Turns out my realplayer is too old and to get the new version I have to enter my creditcard number. Sorry, but I don't really trust such things. I'll go check if I can find soe samples some where else.

I have seen the Real MacKenzies perform in Seattle (I lived there for six years). They were a fun band to see live. I've not heard of Runring. What are they like?

They're alos a rock band, but they do a lot of songs in Gaelic. It's more like Rock/Pop, smooth and really scottish! The live versions on the CDs are the best! I would love to see them live on of these days. They've been around for quite some while. Check out the site, if you want to. They also have sound samples. Just click on the icon for sound, it's somewhere on the site.
