You poor thing! I mean I like U2, but I'm not a fanatic, if you know what I mean. The question about bands in Scotland I think is a good one but I'm afraid I cannot help you out as much, because I'd like to know myself. I only know about some folklore stuff and celtic music. Also everybody talks about Del Amitri, and I'd still like to know who that is and what sort of music. Well, let's see if some one takes pity on us and gives us some answers!!!

Well i will take pity on you ladies,

Scottish bands, well the more famous ones inculde Garbage, Del Amitri (Although they are realy bad!!), David someone (The dude from the Talking heads), thats the main ones i think, Oasis were 'discovered' in Glasgow if that counts for anything, and apart from that you should check out my new band, still nameless!

Annie Lennox from the Eurythmics might be Scottish, but i think Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics is English. and Oasis might've been discovered in Glasgow, but sheesh! they are English. they come from Manchester.
