Smile Tutti Frutti

"thrawn eejit", here in the north east of Scotland, we take "thrawn" to mean obstinate/stubborn. Vincent was certainly that!
Hope this answers your question Elsonico.

Would love to find a copy of Your Cheatin' Heart, the series or the music that acompanied it, can anyone out there help?

Thumbs up

After a lot of research on the net, I discovered that you can buy the whole TV series from the following individual:

(CONTENT DELETED DUE TO NOT HAVING USERS CONSENT)

He wants about £11 (inc postage) for all 6 episodes on DVD.

Hope this helps people!

Ahh, so you are still there!

Colin (aka elsonico),

Why have you been ignoring my mails, after having promised to put tutti frutti back onto the emule network?

You could at least have replied to say why you changed your mind. Would that be too much to hope for?

Exclamation Tutti Frutti

Whilst I have not been in touch with Elsonico, a note was posted in October advising he had been stopped by the BBC from supplying copies. He is possibly under instruction not to publicise the reason.

I think it a bit unfair if you have put someones personal details on public display without approval. That is why we are issued with user names. I appreciate that you thought you were doing him a favour by advertising availability.
It would be better if your initial posting was either edited or removed.

On a different note, the BBC produced an LP record of some of the tunes from the series. I picked one up on e-bay recently for under £5. The sleeve is written as if the band were actually touring and been in existance. It is very good. The pictures are a great memory as well

It's likely that a few of these are still available on the second hand market - through record exchanges, etc.

I'm just hoping the BBC can overcome the problems and show the series again for a new generation to enjoy.

Mark,

Fine, I'll just have to send those details to the BBC's forum instead. I'm sure that will generate plenty of interest, and maybe even encourage the BBC to reshow the program in 2005!
