See, if I bothered to go back and read the thread I would have known that.

Anyway, I'm going to change the subject a little.
It seems to me, there are an abundance of youngsters in here, and I'm made to feel quite old.

Do any of you kids listen to older stuff.
From about the age of two I was listening to all sorts of stuff that was way before my time. Stuff that my parents were into.
The usual Beatles, T-Rex, Stones, but also stuff like Joni Mitchell, the Byrds, Frank Zappa, and a whole load of other crazy psychedelic stuff, along with an awful lot of 40's and 50's Jazz, all of which has rounded my musical tastes quite nicely.
So what did your parents force feed you, and what has it inspired you to listen to nowadays? Those youngsters among us I'm guessing are children of the eightees, so it's no wonder pop is selling so well when it's actually so bad.

Ring any bells?
Or 'Fisherman's Blues'?

$hit (there goes my 'foul mouth' again, Sigurd) - we're going to have to start a thread for old codgers!

Cheers,

Ron.

Wasn't Maggie Mae by Rod Stewart?
Yea (yea, yea?) - but not the same as the Liverpool song.

'Wake up Maggie, I think I've got something to say to you.....'

cheers,

Thanks Ron.
I don't feel so alone in my old age now.
