Hi Talisien. Almost all Burns tracks on the Album. I think the only two not by Burns are "The lost dinner ticket" and "The wee malkies". The album consists of recitals and songs by children from Inverclyde schools (in Scotland) who were all award winners in National competitions for Burns recitals. There is a narration running through the album by Jack Glenny and six songs by The Wherries.
I will give you the contents here for your info -
Introduction - Jack Glenny; Ca' in by yon toon; Willie Wassle; Ye Jacobites; A man's a man; White Cocade; The country lass; Banks and braes; Tam Glenn; Aye waukin; A braw woo'er; Rattlin' Willie; Rights of woman; Pint o; wine; Lost dinner ticket; Fiddle medley; The wee malkies; Coming through the rye; The Kirk Mouse; Killiecrankie; Mary Queen of Scots; Ca the Yawes; To a louse; The rashes O'; Heart in the Highlands. (The album is only available through the web-site, and some Burns Clubs - not in the shops)
Best wishes,
Dave.

There aren't any samples of it on the website, are there? I at least couldn't find any. If I were to purchase it on the website the payment would probably be via creditcard, or not? Do you know what the prices are?

Wink New here!!!

I love the sound of bagpipes. I can't find much in the way of Scotish music over here but I did find a cd called "The Scotish Moors" by life scapes....I absolutly love it....

Hi bonniefair! Ever heared the uilean pipes? I love them!!! The sound is much lighter than the bagpipes, but still a bit melancholic. By the way, where's 'over here'?

Hi Talisien.

There are no samples of the Burns CD on the site. I think I will put some on though, with more details. The price is £5:00 in the U.K. $8:00 U.S. or 8 Euros. There are no facilities for credit card sales on the web-site, but if you are interested, I can send you a CD on approval and if you like it, you can send money. You can contact me directly through the web-site if you like.
Best wishes, Dave.
The Wherries.

Talking HELLO!!!!!

Over here is a small town in Texas. Not many people enjoy anything but country or rap from around here. I enjoy all music but anything celtic or Scotish(bagpipes) is my most favorite. What about you?
