If I had to pick, I would have to say "Auctung Baby", GREAT ALBUM. "Under A Blood Red Sky" is another classis. I've been following U2 for 17years now. I think they are truly amazing... What about you, do you have a faviorit album??

Oh, by the way, Depeche Mode, (in their day) was also a great band...

Hi Pappybear
hmm my fave U2 album has to be Joshua Tree.. although Achtung Baby was pretty good too... and definately Under a Blood Red Sky... (loooooooove Sunday bloody sunday!)

Have you listened to their latest album??
I love the song Elevation.. its on constant repeat -lol-

Depeche Mode was good .. and still is.. I do still listen to them.. my tastes run a little more in the heavy metal/hard rock area right now..

Hi Moonchaser;
I really love the new album "ATYCLB". I seen U2 4 times. 3 in New York and 1 time in Chicago. "Elevation" was the opening song and it was awesome. The whole stadium was going nuts, jumping up and down. I'll never forget it. I got great photos of Bono. I was right there in the front at 3 of the shows. One show I waited for them till 3am. I'll never forget it. It was Fathers' Day at Madison Square Garden, NY. Only Bono came out, and his bodyguard told us that he wasn't feeling well, but he stopped anyway and got out of the Black SUV. I was just standing there (2 feet away) My husband was trying to get me to shake his hand, however, I literally couldn't move. My husband shook his hand and then all I could get out of my mouth was "Happy Father's Day" Yeah, I know. I'm a fool. Don’t know what came over me. I just didn't want to bother him, ya know.

I keep 'All That You Can't Leave Behind' on the cd player nearly all the time these days. Its quite an inspiration to me as I'm drawing in the studio; problem is, some of the songs make me want to get up and dance, when I need to be concentrating on my artwork!

What a tight band they are; every member contributes an essential part. I always listen for good guitar in music and Edge is absolutely amazing... I think he could be picked out of a line up of a 100 guitarists, his sound is so unique.

Susan
