hey i just called the British embassy in Turkey,and they said u can not move to scotland,u can not move without the permission of England??yeah i knew that england doesnt accept immigrants easily i was totally dissapointed when i heard that.so in that case will i never be able to move to Scotland???

You do not need the permission of 'England' to move to Scotland!
Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, as is England. The immigration rules of the United Kingdom are the same, whether you wish to live in Scotland, England, Wales or Northern Ireland. Turkey is not a member of the EU, and it is therefore more difficult for you to get permission to live here, than it would be if you were, say, French or German or Italian. I know that other posters have put the URL of the Home Office rules for immigration on this forum. Sorry, I don't have the URL to hand. |

If you apply for a working holiday visa, you can stay in Scotland for up to 2 years. I think that is one of the only ways to stay in the counrty for an extended period of time, unless of course you got married to a British subject.
