I'm beginning to wonder if you were right about the Americans. Even though I'm American, as I told you, I have absolutely nothing to gain. I have documented evidence that some of my ancestors came over to Scotland in the late 1700's. I would certainly like to hear back from you, if you please. You see, I'm also interested in Scottish geneology.

I felt compelled to send you this message, because I'm American. Please don't assume that I'm using this for any financial gain. I truly do want a Scottish pen pal. Some of my ancestors came from Scotland, so, I feel a kind of affinity with Scotland. So, I hope you will not look at all of us Americans as taking advantage or whatever. Meanwhile, I hope everything is going well for you.
