So wouldn't it have been better to say that instead of make all those nonsensical accusations? I'll take your word that your intentions are honourable, etc as I only have a new and a few words on a screen to judge your comments by. Take care.

ok so you're not pathetic (that was cruel of me to say that) but at the same time there was no need for you to make the comment you did in your poem topic and then close the thread off (that I did find pathetic - it appeared as if you were away in a wee huff!)

As for the comment about the pics in my signature, I never noticed that before today but am glad you appreciate them!

a great wee place to go is just up from Dumbarton, it's called Luss. it's a wee hamlet/village but is very popular in summer for ice cream sand and sun. it looks on to loch lomand and has things like old post boxes and old telephone boxes and the houses are like something you might not see anywhere else, like crofter houses painted white.

I have a friend who use to work on a croft for a training scheme, he used to make the walls of slate with no mortar, he said it was a hard job, but i think he enjoyed it.

    anyhoo

    Hi MichelleLena

    just read your post

I would recommend Oban, its a great wee town, amazingly beautiful in good weather, the seafood is excellent, there is a wee van on the pier that sells seafood, i went there a couple of years ago and had crayfish tails but they sell all sorts as long as you get there early enough.

if you go to Glasgow, there are some nice places and some to be avoided. The City Centre has a lot of hustle and bustle, but there is also places of historic interest. There is the KelvinGrove Museum which has at the mo, 'the Glasgow boys' exhibition , i would like to see it myself but have no artistically interested friends, a must is very near, the the KelvinGrove, that is the transport Museum, it has all the old trams and they have accurately recreated a street from the 20's (maybe 30's or 40's im not sure), i would stay out of some parts of Partick though (the KelvinGrove is in Partick) as it can be rough at certain times.
