It seems like a long, long time ago, yet I remember bits of it vividly ! I read that Joan MacKenzie died a year or two ago ! That shocked me but then again, I suspect some of the others I mentioned will be dead now too. It seems like I was present at the end of an golden era of Gaelic/Scottish entertainment. But of course a new era, with new artists, linking folk music and Gaelic language - and rock too, came through and has developed ever since.
