marion zimmer bradley

Cool, what a nice discussion.
I'll read some of the books you guys mentioned as I'm a big fan of arthurian based novels.
But I still think that "mists of avalon" is the greatest...
Hope to find a better one, it would be absolutely fantastic!

Have a good reading erveryone,
Gala

marion zimmer bradley is an awesome author..My only wish is that I would have learned of her sooner and been able to find her sorceress series.

I really should get on the ball and read the prequle to the mists of avalon.

Talking Arthurian novels

Hey, did you actually know that the holy grail (at least the Christian one) is guarded in a wee cloister abbey high up in the mountains of Spain?

I had to do a report about the Celtic origins of the Christian Arthurian legends. It took me months to get through all this material, but it is absolutely great.

Reading all the nice things you wrote about the Zimmer Bradley books, I think I should read one, too. At the moment I am reading Nigel Tranter's "The young Montrose" and I am trying to get his trilogy on Bruce...
