I like the books Jostein Gaarder writes. Has anyone read any?

At the moment, I'm reading Robert Louis Stevenson's Amateur Emmigrant. It's kinda slow now, but I thought it was interesting in that he's going by sea from Scotland to California and it's supposed to be one of the greatest works or record on immigration.

I like Sophia's world. "Philosophy's history" in an easy way. I found it lovely.
But I like reading the old philosophers too (the source)...

Jostein Garder is wonderful! There is even a film based on his books. It's shown frequently in our wee university cinema.

But I am reading something else at the moment.
I got me a reference book on Celtic mythology and it's soooooooooooooooooooo cool! Forget everything around me...

I just started reading Omerta by Mario Puzo. I recommend it and The Last Don if you enjoyed the Godfather saga

Talking Celtic mythology

Hi Galadriel,

it's called "Celtic Mythology", the author is Arthur Cotterell. It is a sort of reference book, richly illustrated. It covers a lot, but it is of course not a complete handbook of Celtic myth and wisdom.
