Oh, getting to read "The Hobbit" as part of a school course would have been fun. I never could be bothered getting all the way through "Lord of the Rings", though. Limited interest in long detailed descriptions of this or that battle. Or mibbe just too lazy - there could be that.
![]() Aha, I have just downloaded "Sunset Song", as I fancy reading it again, and only recently fetched "A Scots Quair" out of its hiding ....... oops ....... filing .... yeah, filing, that's what I mean..... place, only to leave it with my dad as part of his "go to hospital" book pile. Likewise, "The Hobbit", which I suddenly also want to read again, is hiding somewhere OR I gave it to a friend years ago and don't have it any more. Should we all make a wee mental note to come back and laugh at tig on his birthday? In the meantime, here's a version of "The Hobbit" that will leave you wanting to attack your brain with bleach. ![]() YouTube - Leonard Nimoy's Ballad of Bilbo Baggins No really, no need to thank me.
