Question Lochness Monster book?

I was wondering if someone could pass along the name of any books about the Lochness Monster or "Nessie". I was born in Scotland but now live in Canada and have always told my Grandchildren about Nessie so my Grandaughter,Quinlan would like to do a project for her school class. She is 8years old so the book doesn't need to be too young. I really just need a book to teach her about Nessie. I have looked on Amazon.uk but have found nothing.
Thank you

Hello Patricia
The 'telling' of the Loch Ness Monster story is fairly short - hardly warranting a whole book! But there is one that my family had called Nessie by Richard Brassey.

But it would be too 'young' for your grandchild.

Just print off the Nessie page from Wikipedia.

You can even hear it and read about some lesson ideas for using this lovely piece of nonsense with kids.
Edwin Morgan's work is being celebrated today by the citizens of Glasgow(probably not all them but it's a start )

Hello, Patricia.

Click this link to see some titles, and I suppose any that interest you, you will just have look around and see if you can find them anywhere near to you.

Loch Ness Monster titles in National Library of Scotland

Or try John Smiths bookshop at John Smith

Other bokshops should be able to help to, of course, and I will hope to come back to this thread later with better info if I can.

Nessie on Amazon.co.uk has quite a lot, really, and even Amazon Canada has some, so something went wrong when you were looking, I suppose. Perhaps Nessie hacked their databases.

Nessie on Amazon Canada

Also try Abebooks, as it is based in Canada and it is pretty good, (although of course they may still be selling books that have to be sent from hereabouts)

Good luck.
