Thumbs up Wicked

I am a big Wizard of Oz fan, and I knew Wicked was a broadway musical but I just found out abot a week ago that it is a book too, so I picked up a copy and the newest edition, Son of a Witch, and I am so into the book. I have not finished Wicked yet, but it is great. I am hoping to get tickets to see the broadway production in the spring.

Has anyone seen it or read the book? What did you think?

I really enjoyed the book. I thought it was brilliant. It makes you watch The Wizard of Oz in a whole new light.

I haven't seen the musical. My friend has and said it's fantastic.

Son of the Witch just came out too which is about Elphaba's son.

I will have to watch it again after I finish the book. I am at the part where she just left the sisters at the monestary with Liir. They are on the road and Elphaba is talking to the bees.

I tried to get tickets to the Kennedy Center for their month of shows in DC but they sold out within 24 hours. I was so upset. I am hoping to go see it on Broadway in NYC in the spring once the weather gets nicer. I don't want to be snowed out in the winter.

Sorry I did not know you already posted about Wicked. I just joined in May I think. It is a great book. Have you read Son of Witch? It just came out in the beginning of October. It is about Liir, I have not finished Wicked yet, but as soon as I do I wm going to read it.
