I just read in the paper that he's a Scot, but I can't remember his name (I've never heard of him).
I heard that it is going to be Ioan Gruffudd, a Welsh actor, who's been in Horatio Hornblower, Titanic, The Gathering and many other things.

As for my favourite Scottish actors, I would have to say Sean Biggerstaff and Billy Boyd.
I've actually met Billy before. Very nice guy.

I might sound boring to most of you ppl, but my favorite scottish actor is Sean Connery.

But the main reason i choose Sean Connery, is because of he's role in the last Indiana Jones movie. He were so cool in that movie, that i just have to choose him as my fav scottish actor. Even my father on a good day, can make me feel so small as Sean Connery would have been able to do in that movie

I liked Sean Connery in the James Bond movies, but it's only in the later years i have really started to respect him as an actor.

Had to edited it a bit. I wanted it to be clear that i liked he's acting because of he's role in the last Indiana Jones movie. I still thing he's the best James Bond actor, even though i like Roger Moore's dry humour

Plz, don't correct my spelling

I adore Ewan McGregor. He's such a versatile actor. He sings beautifully, can do comedy or drama, and he's not exactly hard on the eyes.

Has anyone here seen Young Adam?

Is Angus McFadyen Scottish?

I've seen some movies, "Language of the Cranes," "Second Skin," and of course "Braveheart." He has also worked in an American TV series, called "Miracles." But I thought he was French. Then a friend told me he was from Scotland. I thought that explained why I dream of him every night!!
Oh, thumbs up for whoever started this thread. (:
