Yearnings of a Pariah for London

'For all the wondrous places I've been
None such as that country far
The like never before seen
As lost, lovely Shangra-la

Gone is that country
Of the fairest of all lands
The place of bounty
Within the god's hands

I go there to pine
But cannot do so
Grief is a crime
In this place I go

But this land I've seen
Its' sweet fountains tasted;
Yes, to this place I've been
But it's never before lasted.
