This is dedicated to the widows of the Vietnam War everywhere

They were our boys,
Our chilren of summer.
They were our husbands,
Our first loves.

"The rice paddies are ruined,
The Yellow River runs red.
Tommy's been wounded,
And Jimmy's dead."

They were taken by draft,
Though many enlisted.
They fought in the jungles
--God help them, God help them!

"The rice paddies are ruined,
And the Yellow River runs red.
Tommy's been wounded,
And Jimmy's dead."

Left behind, our sorrow
Is longer than a river,
Our eternal grief
Deeper than an ocean

"The rice paddies are ruined,
And the Yellow River runs red.
Tommy's been wounded,
And Jimmy's dead."

'Holy, blessed Father
Now in the hour of our death,
Be with us and accept
Our souls-----' Amen.

"The rice paddies are ruined,
And the Yellow River runs red.
Tommy's been wounded"
-And we regret to inform you-
"Jimmy's dead."

Please send some feed back on this one, please. I cried all through the program that inspired this.
