Very good!!! Can't you hear the piper as he crosses the mist, playing a sorrowful tune?? Gives me goose bumps everytime.

Try 1000 pipes and drums marching past you in groups of 200. That'll stir the blood.
(called the beating of the retreat. happens every year in edinburgh on Jan 30th)

I found that really beautiful. I have all these majestic visions of scotland and it's moores and highlands in my head. Your poem reminded me of them.

Hi Thanatos im sorry i just got around to thanking you for reading my poems these two poems are very significant in my life have you written more, and will you post them soon i so enjoyed your eerie one...

Hi becca a bit slow i think i have not been on the boards that much thanx for reading my poem and it was actually a triumphant song i hear played by the piper since it was victorious that they returned but a soulful one makes sense too since its scotland who dreams...

Hi Andrew: i cant wait to experience that,im hoping to be there for the edinburgh tattoo in 2003

Hi arie:thanx for reading my poem,i could almost hear Scotland when i wrote it im hoping to experience it in a few years and im counting the days when that becomes true.
