Our love is like a fresh new morn
An ending to the night
When all the things that passed before
Are turned and made aright.

A fresh new sheet to write upon
The things we'll say and do
I thank the Lord my journey now
Is with someone like you.

The sun comes up to shine upon
The promises of the day
What new and wonderful things we'll see
As we go upon our way.

A cloud may come, some rain may fall
But the rain must come you see
To water what new plant's to grow
Into a strong oak tree.

A tree to stand the test of time
With strengh and beauty such
Our love a lasting monument
Shaped by the Master's touch.

And as the day draws to a close
As all days must you see
Hand in hand we'll walk as one
Into Eternity.

Hi, Andrew. Thanks! Uh.... you'll notice Willy's sad face above because funny poems are what I usually write - I just had some wonderful inspiration for the above, right Bri?

If you check what's been posted here on Poetry for the last 30 days and look on page 2 you'll see "Willy's Ode to Diane" and "The Scotsman". You'll find funny there!! Hope you like them!
