This is for all of you who stay awake for your heart.

Timescaped

Yesterday
I saw black tears
Running down a silvery mirror
Watering the lotus
With leaden freshness

Today
I feel the serpent
Creeping down an iron spine
Twisting the shining metal
In sudden, ripe gusts

Today
I hear the eagle
Calling over sun-crowned soil
Shedding translucent vanishings
In a wind-tossed sky

Today
I smell acrid rain
Streaming through recycled perfume
Intertwining like crest-fallen steel
To a lurid railway net

Yesterday
I tasted summer rain blood
Springing from a gleaming fountain
Dancing a sinister tango
To a silent violin’s cry

Today
I breathe under a cloud-raced crimson sky
Exhaling yesterday’s humid warmth
Inhaling tomorrow’s icy cold
Of a life to be born

I am not exactly sure if I have a specific "field" of poetry.

Poetry, in most any form, it is my passion. I read and write it as often as possible... I hide in it, reveal myself in it, live in it, and surely I will die in it.

History... again, not really one specific area, just sort of everything that has had an effect on me,
I am trying to put together a family chart of sorts, but more than just names, I am trying to find out what the people I am related to DID, what they liked.... what their passions were, (it requires that I learn a lot about history, although, I never have liked history so much as I do now, when I see how it has indeed directly affected me, and my family....
I have many other interests, too, perhaps I should be a bit more specific on my profile? Nah.... make ya wonder.

I guess I couldn't describe more accurate than that what poetry means to me. It's the tongue that speaks my love and my hate; the only language in which I'm bold enough to drain my soul and yet it is only a mask, a hypocritical parodie of life.

Very interesting, searching your family's history. But how do you do that? Talking to relatives or are you the lucky owner of a rich and influential family so that you can look for information about them in official archives?

> I have many other interests, too, perhaps > I should be a bit more specific on my pro-> file?
By all means do so. (BTW, I shall update mine AFAP because it's become pretty inaccurate...)
