I *loved* Signs and The Village by M. Night Shyamalan. Has anyone else seen them? What did you think? Did you like them?
I think that Mr. Shyamalan does real good in pshycological thrillers.

I saw signs and it scared the crap out of me. I screamed when they showed the video tape of the birthday party in Mexio or wherever it was adn the alien came out of the bushes. The part when they were in the basement also scared me. I did not see the Village but my cousin said it sucked.

"Signs" scared me, indeed.

I did not care for "The Village". I was disappointed to find out that the creature was just that dude.

The best one of M. Night's was "Sixth Sense".

I agree with miserymother. In fact, I've just written my list of most hated movies on another thread and Signs is way up there.

Sorry, but I have to agree. Both of these movies sucked! For the cast that supported The Village it's mediocrity should become legendary and its ending painfully removed from the brain with a blow torch. Signs was great up until the aliens turned up, until then it was going well. Actually, so did The Village. I think M. Night Shyamalan just lucked out with the Bruce Willis goose-bumpy (obvious by that point) revelation. I love psychological thrillers, but if there is a bright spot in the centre of this genre, this director is on the flip flops farthest from it, at least within his conclusions.

[i]Sadly, I have to agree that the best movie that M. Night Shyamalan made was "Sixth Sense".. After such a fantastic ending, confusing me.. lol.. I was sure that he would only get better from there.

I liked "Signs" it was good to watch, but not scary at all. I didn't think that Sixth Sense was scary, just more on the edge of your seat movie trying to figure it out.

The Village in my eyes.. was a flop totally.. I was surprised at the ending, indeed, but I just thought the movie was pretty lame.
