Hello,
and again a new member on this site. For a long time Scotland has been a goal for me and I want to go now. I know I could read even more books about Scotland, but maybe you can tell me: Is Winter a good time to travel in northern Scotland (Aberdeen area). How big is the chance of having (a lot of) rain? Is there a possibility of consulting the "phone book" (white pages) of this area over the net? I'd be grateful for tips and hints. Greetings from the Mediterranean Sea, Catrin. ------------------ Catrin G. |

The weather in the Aberdeen area can be a bit cold at the best of times - its the wind off the north sea that does it. I wouldn't avoid the area for fear of the weather though, it tends to be unpredictable country-wide over winter.
What sort of info are you looking for in the phone book? Welcome to scotland.com by the way! Peteman
