Hello,

and again a new member on this site. For a long time Scotland has been a goal for me and I want to go now.

I know I could read even more books about Scotland, but maybe you can tell me:

Is Winter a good time to travel in northern Scotland (Aberdeen area). How big is the chance of having (a lot of) rain?

Is there a possibility of consulting the "phone book" (white pages) of this area over the net? I'd be grateful for tips and hints.

Greetings from the Mediterranean Sea, Catrin.

The weather in the Aberdeen area can be a bit cold at the best of times - its the wind off the north sea that does it. I wouldn't avoid the area for fear of the weather though, it tends to be unpredictable country-wide over winter.

What sort of info are you looking for in the phone book?

Welcome to scotland.com by the way!

Peteman
