I have written most of my life. Am rarely satisfied with my attempts. However, this particular piece of poetry beckons itself as one I must share when opportunity permits. Although the title is specific, I actually refer to any and every concept of judgements and subsequent unfairness. Oh, and please do not mistake the term "humanist" as that emphasized during the Renaissance era. It is merely a term I chose to show the contrast between myself and those of which I write.

So you're a Racist?

So you're a racist?
A revolutionary in the concept of
race superiority.
You, with all of your
omnipotence has the answer
to life's age old question;
who are we?

Eagerly you bargain
with blessing's you received
at conception in your
endless pursuit to prove
you are superlative.

I receive this
with great interest!
You invoke a pattern
of thought virtually
overwhelming to a mind
of my inferior capacity.

I suppose in my likeness
of an earthling, I cannot
possibly conceive the
magnitude of that you
profess.

You are a racist?
I am a humanist,
I am subject to imperfections
and fragility.
You are, however-
subject to judgement!

The problem is in terminology. There is certainly nothing wrong with being a "racist" now being an anti-racist is a problem. You(if you are Scottish) should be rightly Proud of your heritage, and that makes you a "racist", however if you are against Anglophiles(as an example) you are against a specific race, and therefore an anti-racist. The first is admirable, while the second is abominable.

Hello and thanks for the comment. I am doing a new thing here (responding to form of criticism). But, after pondering for a second or two the possibility of my, as well as millions of others, being misinformed as to the definition of this particular word, I had to clear a few things. Racism/racist = the belief that differences in human character are based solely on race and that a particular race is superior to others. Or, as American Heritage would put it iscrimination or prejudice based on race. Now, I am not Scottish by birth. My mother is. Her mother was. Her mother was. And so on, and so on. I am incredibly proud of my Scottish heritage and never have a problem professing so. However, I would never make the claim that Scots are the nonpareils' of human society because I am such a big fan. If I did, that would make me a RACIST.
Brightest Blessings!

Becca, it is. That is why I write, for romance in all its guises. I guess I got my feathers ruffled. I suppose if you read my words, it is not hard to figure that one.
I like you becca! )
