So, I hate to digress but back to the poem itself...Where's "HIGHER"....Shouldn't it be "Girl we couldn't get much "HIGHER"....C'mon baby light my fire?"

OK *trivia* question? Where is Jim Morrison buried?(...did I say I hate to digress....?)

You're absolutely correct there Di! I would hate to have to get out my old LP's to check the words though. Someone else can explain what an LP is.
Di, didn't the young man O.D. somewhere in France?

'Ta, Willy--yes, "girl, we couldn't get much higher"! Can't remember th'famous arty cemetary's name, but it's in Paris; wee Jimmy is buried across th' corner from Baudelaire! Seems like Rimbaud is down th' lane, as I recall...and Balzac's in a cul-de-sac two rows over!

WHEW! Thank goodness ye confirmed with me on the "HIGHER" I was begiing to think I was suffering from "flashbacks".
CelticJack, you win the trivia game; Tis the Pere Lachaise Cemetary in Paris (also Oscar Wilde and another somewhat well known composer, Chopin, are his "neighbors") It's the 4th most visited sight in Paris after the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame & the Pompidou Center & there are 2 different live cameras hidden in light post & trees to keep an ever watchful eye over the poet.
