This is for a Literature teacher I knew and loved. He was a kind soul, but his life ended so tragic. His name was Mr. Charles McDaniel.
============================================

In the tree, I nestle with Thee
Dreaming of the deep blue sea.
Along the coast
A heart so big to boast
My love nestles with me
In the tree, I nestle with Thee.

Running up the hill
Surrounding wind and leaves in a reel
I dance with wingless floating mass
Playfully tiptoeing between blades of grass
I fall down with you to catch me
In the tree, I nestle with Thee.

Memories will always exist in pairs
In the tree, I nestle with Thee
A creature unaware.

"When you collect the things that embody
strength for you, when you put them together,
when you open yourself to let each speak,
you will know something about the
sources of your strength." --Starhawk
