I received an email requesting info on a poem that goes....

The ole broon troot lay unner a stane, unner a stane lay he, and he thought
o the wind and he thought o the rain and the troot that he yase tae be...

Anyone got any ideas of author etc?

I'm sorry I can't help you, but this seems an appropriate place to ask for help in finding and identifying another poem. The person that asked me said she believes it is called either "The Next Room" or "The Other Room." It probably isn't Scottish...she thought it might even be Welsh (could be American). I'd appreciate any help anyone might be able to give. ~~Carol~~
