omg,i total forgot about Salems Lot..that was a creepy one,i havent seen that in a very long time..the part where the vampire is looking through the window...omg that was wild, still sends chills, lol!
I have the movie Rosemarys baby but i still havent watched it,i dont know why,lol...chicken maybe,i find alot of the older movies are alot more scarier than those of today, too much computers involved!I love a little mystery in the horror movie, something that isnt predictable,we know that the girl running through the woods from a crazed killer is going to fall down and be killed, Or the one who is going on a beer run is never coming back,lol...Give me a little twist to a movie and I'm a happy camper

I agree

they are also waaay too gory...there is way more chill thrills when the unexpected happens...or..something ordinary becomes extraordinary...like how did you feel about your television set after the Poltergeist movie was over? Did you want to put it outside but couldn't because you were too scared to get off the couch? That was also a good one....unexpected ..like when the guy suddenly fell through the hole in the boat in jaws...who didn't jump?
You haven't watched Rosemary's yet? Dear girl...get out the popcorn machine tonight...call a victim....ermmm friend who hasn't seen it either...and go to it!

i'm not a huge horror flick person, mainly because they DON'T scare me. so i like the ones that could actually happen (not like chucky or freddy or jason) but i did like the scream trilogy, and i really loved It. i liked shawn of the dead because it made me laugh!!! and i actually liked 13 ghosts (it made me jump several times!) i really want to see Saw. and i love well-made dracula movies.

i don't care much for the zombie movies, but i do like a good werewolf movie- like silver bullet. i liked poltergeist (original only). and i've heard salem's lot was pretty good, so i plan on seeing that.

I absolutely love horrorfilms! More specifically vampire, witchfilms, ghoststories and such. They have to be sort of "decent" if you see what I mean. Not just limbs being cut off and such, that gets really boring after a while I find. Although I saw a golden oldie not so long ago, Braindead, that was absolutely hilarious!

The last horrorfilm I saw was The Grudge. I had some scary bits in it, when you know something is going to happen, but just not exactly when. So it did have me jumping out of my chair a few times, but in the end it wasn't really that scary after all. But at least I am glad it didn't have a happy ending, that would have put me off completely. A happy ending just didn't seem to fit the film.
