I liked a movie called Shallow Grave, which isn't the jump out of your skin horror, but still I found it very interesting. It takes place in Edinburgh if memory serves (haven't seen it since it was released.)

Sorry getting off topic, I'd have to say my favorite horror movie right now is American Haunting. I love horror movies based on some fact.+

My taste tends to lead more toward movies like. . .
Rose Red (first an excellent Stephen King novel) and most ghost stories.
Pet Cemetery (another Stephen King novel)
As well as things like. . .
The 8 films to die for series, my favorite of those would have to be "Wicked Little Things".
I will say the I do not think that "The Covenant" is a proper horror movie it is rather adolescent without much thought behind it. (Just my opinion I am not meaning to insult anyone).
