Smile

The old player in the street,
plays his violin,
carrying a tone so sweet.

People pass him by and by,
throwing a coin,
he looks up to sigh.

Day after day he starts anew,
painting pictures,
in my mind they come true.

The old player in the street,
entertains alone,
until him I go to greet.

To Peter

Thanks Mukashi!
I've written that poem based on a real street player, an old man who plays violin. He's from Russia.

Hi there again!
I was hoping to read some of your poems... well I know how it is because I've got quite a few poems in German...
I've posted actually a few already but you'll probably have to go searching for them. There was one called 'Human mind' which I posted in march or april. It should still be somewhere in this thread. If yiu can't find it I'll post it again. Just if you're interested I'm actually trying to built a website right now entitled Poetscorner. It's almost finished but I'm having trouble with my hosting at bravenet.
As soon as it's online I'll tell you about. Would be happy to see you there
LOL Tanya

Cool

well I've just translated some of my poems to English... but it isn't good... but I will show you so that you can have veyr general view of them^^ but really in polish they're a bit better because I can use more words... and so on...

Looking for...

On every day full of hope
I wake up, I go out, I search...
I lie and dream
I walk and dream
I always dream
That I found...

But...

In real I'm still lost
I go into a maze
Traps and corridors around me
And he stands still
Waiting in the middle

Fairy tales say teach us we will win
But why they don't mention about those,
Whose bones I see there
Lying under the wall of maze

*end*

well... there can be some mistakes... ^^'
