Yeah, I forgot to read the, "This site is owned and operated by Virtual Countries <http://www.virtualcountries.com>, Inc. and is not affiliated with any government entity associated with a name similar to the site domain name."
But it does say Literature and Film.
"Stushie, rammy, stramash?" You exaggerate a tad.

What a load of cobblers (the piece of the thread that is still there). But maybe I should reserve judgement until I see the original critique. Send me a copy, ScabbyD.

But my original comment still stands- The Literature and Film board on the Scotland.com site is still thin on the ground for these "classic" stories that almost all Scots were brought up on.

So , do Oor Wullie" and the "Broons" still continue, then? The "Sunday Post " being fairly detestable, I haven't looked at it in years. Hmm, I could think about buying a Broons or Oor Wullie album for a sort of nostalgia-fest.

Wasn't there a boy called "Fat Boab"? Is he still around or is he now "Circumferentially Challenged Robert"?

<Celyn departs muttering "Jings! Crivens! Jeemie, you're a wee poultice">
