Our own doubts are our greatest barriers in any endeavours. We are only free and able to accomplish what we THINK we can. When doubt arises, defeat is never far behind. However, that principle is just as strong in reverse. When we believe in ourselfs, nothing can hold us back. Our accomplishments are many when we develop the habit of self-assurance.
We must take personal responsibility for our beliefs, weither they be positive or negative. No one else is capable of putting thoughts in our minds. We have chosen those that are there. Far better that we coach our minds along positive paths. Only they can lead to the accomplishments that will give us satisfaction, today and everyday.
We can anticipate our victories with excitment in this life. They will reflect what we coached ouselfs to attempt.

its from the book that I read everyday.. i decided to start sharing it with everyone else...at least the ones who want to see them!

These daily meditations are the first thing I do everyday, so yes I like/love meditation

What we call poetry is a capacity to use language so freely, so beautifully, and with so much imagination that it transforms ordinary words. What we call prophecy is the ability to see through the complex machinery of the present into the true nature of events. Both the poet and the prophet seem to be touched by magic-- with more than human powers.

They tear aside the veil of ordinary reality. Both reveal a vision more intense than ours. Yet we can learn from poets and prophets, if we wish. Their vision is available to us.

All we need is humility and a willingness to let our minds play freely. Great prophets and poets speak to our human condition. Their vision can challenge or console us, if we consult them.

Hey Wizz

What's the name of this book?
I do meditation daily as well (when I wake up and before I sleep) and I love reading "The Tao" when I feel that I need a wise advice. The Tao and I ching are 2 of the books I carry with me everywhere I go. Has anyone read it? There are heaps of texts from it in my site, Wizz, you probably saw it. Interesting messages...
I'll keep checking this thread.
