Cheers for that. The thing is, how many people in Portree or Stornoway would understand where you meant? We had this debate with Bearsden. It's Gaidhlig name is Cille Phadraig Ur (New Kilpatrick) but I think most people would understand it better as Tha mi a fuireach ann am Bearsden.

Tha mi a' bruidhinn beagan Ghaidhlig, Tha mi ag ionnsachadh. I like this phrase: 'S dh'imich an sgeul mar sin (and so passeth the old tale away.) I hope this is what I wrote: My name is Marykate, I'm from Arizona, U.S. I'm 16. I write songs in Ghaidhlig. It is a very beautiful language, and it is great to listen to.
