Attention all Gaelic learners.

Once again I would sincerely recommend any Gaelic learners who are interested in joining a list for Gaelic learners to try the Sabhal Mor Ostaig website.

http://www.smo.uhi.ac.uk

The Gaelic learners list is called "Gaidhlig-B", "Gaidhlig-A" is gaelic only, no english. But as Gaidhlig-B is for learners posts can be Gaelic and English.

Cool

Stephan....
I've actually already been there...it was fun, but just tantalizing...now I want more- more- more!!;-)
I'm learning Latin via some software called Latin Now! By Transparent Language..ever heard of it? Unfortunately, the only Gaelic they offer is "Irish Gaelic" or, as they say on the site "Learn to Speak "Irish"...:-/ ..which seems like a total over simplification to me...or am I wrong and is "Irish" a valid term for Irish Gaelic?
Anyway, that's beside the point,..I wanted to ask you and the other members here if they know of any excellent multi media CDRoms besides the one "Speaking Our Language"..which can be used by adults, but is really aimed at kids, as I am pretty rabid about learning correct pronunciation, in Scottish Gaelic.
It's pretty bad there aren't more Scot Gaelic resources where I live, which is near Cape Breton! (A Canadian Gaelic Capital!) So, if anyone knows of a good CDRom, or would like to chat in general, email me or post here!
Thanks all, and Stephan......Seinneadair a.k.a singer in NB Canada ;-)Ps: It's heartening to see the people here that ARE trying to learn Gaelic...I don't want this language to die! I hope more Gaelic learners/speakers pop up here in this thread..

Seinneadair, a charaid,

'S ann a Dun Deagh a tha mi-fhin, ann an Alba. Tha moran càirdean mo mhathair ann an Canada.

I am not sure about another CD Rom apart from Speaking Our Language, but have you tried the videos from that course? They are for adults sure enough as they have lots of conversation to listen to and practise in each episode.

Try the Gaelic Books Council "Comhairle nan Leabhraichean" from which you can order online. They don't just sell books, they sell CDs and videos too.
