Is this still correct when taken out of context?

From the song: An Eala Bhàn - Capercaillie - An Eala Bhan
From all the sites I can find this line from the song:
Chan eil sinn uile ach air chuairt
Translates to:
We are all only on a journey

If taken out of the context of the song would this still be correct or would the Gaelic translation change if the line were said on it's own?

Thanks!!
