A few questions, Pronunciation and lessons
Hi!
I've got a few questions on pronunciation. I've been trying to memorize the little lullaby from Disney's "Brave." Here are the lyrics: A naoidhean bhig, cluinn mo ghuth Mise ri d’ thaobh, O mhaighdean bhan Ar righinn oig, fas as faic Do thir, dileas fhein A ghrian a’s a ghealaich, stuir sinn Gu uair ar cliu ‘s ar gloire Naoidhean bhig, ar righinn og Mhaighdean uashaill bhan It's mostly about when to use a "V" sound. Mhaighdean and Righinn, How would they sound. Is it "Mai-Jenn" Or "Vai- Jenn" And I'm Hearing Both "Rigg- in" And "RiV-in" But what I hear means nothing, as actors usually know little to nothing about pronunciation... Secondly, I'm seriously interested in the "Teach me!" Gaelic Computer lessons, But I can't seem to find it. The one place I wanted to get it from, I don't think is selling it anymore... If not, Do you know of any alternative that would be as good? Thanks in Advance!! Meggie |
