The real idiocy is asking for a translation from a public forum. Go to Bord na Gaidhlig or Sabhal Mor Ostaig and be confident that you're going to get the right translation instead of wandering around with a tattoo which reads "I am a total dickhead"........

Just so you know , along with Gaelic , Scotland has the aforementioned Doric as well as Lallans , Orcadian , Shetlandic , Norn , ( and way back in the past , Pictish ) . There may be others .
