So my uncle/God Father recently passed, and was a very important part of my life. Our family is also Scottish (clan name munro) and my uncle was very proud of his heritage.
I wanted to get the saying "His like will never exist again" in Scottish Gaelic. I've searched the internet and the most common spelling of this phrase is "Cha bhithidh a leithid ami riamh". If you search that phrase in google you'll see many people use that spelling. But it never hurts to be accurate ![]() Now on another scottish forum, someone gave this spelling of the phrase "Cha bhithidh a leithid ann a-riamh" pretty similar. So i'd just like some opinions on what would be most accurate (i know some words may be old gaelic and some new). Much appreciated! Dave |
