Translation

Hey i was wondering what the Scottish Gaelic translation would be for
"Fear is your enemy, Trust is your armor"
I have a Scottish and English dictionary and found the translation myself. Translating it from directly from English to Scottish i got
"Eagal ta bhar Namhaid, Earbfa ta bhar airm"
The book is a little out dated (1780)
If anyone can confirm this it would mean a lot to me.
Thanks!
