Beannachte an ceann deireannach, tillidh iad air thoiseach.

Blessed (is) the last head, they will come foremost.

hello and thanks for your translation!
just one question: is it translated as you would find it on the Gospel or just as close as possible? i'm asking you this because my sentence "blessed are the last for they shall be the first" is different to what you said: "Blessed (is) the last head, they will come foremost."
sorry but i'm a bit confused.
thank you
Max Riley

Its not a word for word translation, but it captures the essence of the original sentiment I think. "Beannachd" means blessing and is a greeting in Gaelic too. Im still learning myself.
