Laggierigh - again

Hi,

I have found a place on a modern map named "Logieside" which is in about the right place as described above as Loggie-Riach. (Near Conon House), also in the right parish. So I think that this must be the Laggierigh on my ancestor's birth record.

Laggierigh = Logieking ?

According to the LDS Logie was originally Laggie and Righ in Gaelic means King so "Logieking" ?

Laggierigh/Logiebride

I think the original idea of Laggierigh being known in modern times as Logiebride is perhaps more correct.

The Highland Council archives website shows both an ancient church and burial ground at Logiebride: Highland Council HER - by exeGesIS SDM

According to the LDS Loggie was originally Laggie, and the second half of the word has been spelt differently by different people, i.e Logie-bride and Logie-Riach, for the same place.

It was situated in the woods just north of Conan House.
