Gaelic Translation help

A big hello to everyone from Canada

I was hoping to pick everyones brain here with some scottish gaelic translation help.
I'm looking at getting a new tattoo and would like to have my scottish side show.

I had a couple of ideas. I'm not sure how hard names are to translate but I have triplet boys with the names of Maxwell, Dillon, & Chip. I was also looking at translating something like:
"my triplet boys" or "the power of 3", or even a date if that was possible
June 2005.

I would appreciate any help someone could give me.

Hello,

The actual names of your children are not typical of names found in Gaelic culture. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to translate them and retain any resemblance to names. There is no hard and fast rule in Gaelic that says you cannot use any name, in any language you want, especially if it is going to be transformed into something unrecognisable as a name by translation.

To convey the literal meaning of the phrases you have suggested would require a long convoluted sentence that would take up most of your body.

Here are some suggestions that would convey the same intention but take up less space.

“My triplet boys” would be “Mo thriùir bhalaich” (mo rhoor valich)
Literally “My three boys”

“The power of 3” would be “ triùir comasach” (troor comasach – as is – ‘o’ as in coal – ch as in loch or the German ‘ich’). or “triùir cumhachdach” (troor cooachdach).
Literally “powerful three”

“June, 2005” would be “An t-Og mhios, dà mhile ‘sa còig”. (an tog vius, da vileh sa coegg).
