Duthill,
I have tried explaining my observation of your behaviour as you requested. You choose not to accept it, that’s up to you, so why do you ask the same questions again?

Not being a qualified shrink I cannot see what more you want or need.
What qualifications do you have in English?

I have stated that I am a native Gaelic speaker, that I can converse in it comfortably, that I was born and raised in the Western Isles of Scotland, that in those Isles the language is used daily. I grant you that I have no formal qualifications, which is what I took your question to mean.

Do you move in circles where everybody goes round brandishing certificates before they say or do anything?

I endeavour to reply to requests for translations because I can. I did not realise that I had to have a Degree, or your approval. If anyone else on this thread can do it why don’t they? As I’ve said the actions of your sort has driven them away. If fact, there are many who request information once that we never hear from again because, I believe, you and a few like you ridicule and insult them and turn innocent posts into slagging matches that have nothing to do with the original post.

What are your qualifications to pronounce on history or genealogy? You seem to readily and regularly put yourself up as an authority. If my impression that you learn of your history by reading books is a lie, where do you learn of it?

What qualifications do you have to diagnose the state of my health? A common trait among the insane, I am told, is that they believe that they are OK and everyone else is mad.

Auld Chiel,
You say; “For what it's worth, I'd like to interject here with a few thoughts that I think may have been overlooked in all this -” If you check out some previous threads you will find those very points have been discussed chapter and verse. Not only will you find out the general opinions but you will be able to see how some on this site change their views, even to the extent where they not only contradict others but contradict themselves from one day to the next.

You might find it informative, I think you would also find it entertaining.

What has that got to do with you being able to translate the Clan Armstrong slogan ?
You have yet to give any indication of you ability to translate the language .
Do you have the skills to do that ?

Yes , or No ?

Andy,
I had never heard of this law, very interesting, and how convenient for silencing or rubbishing any opposition to people with extremist or radical views.

I did not accuse Auld Chiel of being a Nazi, merely observed that he had leanings that way, an observation with which he concurred.

You inflated this one remark out of proportion. Since you have no intellectual credibility to lose there’s no harm done.

Duthill,
EVERYTHING

Yes what ?
You have the ability to stutter the word YES ? Is that it .

Given your refusal to answer the question put to you three times , we can only conclude that you do not have the required skills to translate the latin slogan of the Clan Armstrong .

All you had to do was admit the truth Crofter , but as we now know , truth is a stranger to you .
