I have another, this one isn't exclusive to Sunderland though, alot of the Durham collierys use it, it is strictly used my old men it seems, many nouns beginning with a vowel have the prefix 'H'.
Hunions (onions) Homlet (omlette) Hegs (eggs) Hice (ice) Hoysters (oysters) It is funny to hear "Hegs and 'am" for Eggs and Ham lol. etc etc etc it's quite funny actually... |
