Post Also looking for a translation.............

but a written one.

I wish to put a date in Gaelic on a small memorial plaque to my mother.
Can someone show me how it should be written, please.

19-January-2005

Thanks

Irish Gaelic or Scots Gaidhlig? Going by your username you must be Irish.

translation

actually, the Scots Gaidhlig, would be perfect.
My mother, who was from Bute, actually spoke a fair bit of the language but never really passed on that much to us.
I myself, am a Glaswegian.
The Bejasus name is an anagram of my kids names which I used to name my boat.

Ooops! That'll teach me to assume.

January is Fhaoilteach so it would be written 19 Fhaoilteach 2005, according to my sources. No doubt someone else will argue!
