And you seemed to be the only person that understood what "inked" meant! Ach well, we're doing well.

As for evil French, idiots come from all over the globe, although they do seem to be concentrated in certain countries. The Americans' biggest fault is ignorance of other countries. I cracked a joke with an American about "Georgia" (the state that they were from) - they never even knew there was a country of the same name. And they beat us at soccer recently (dammit!)

I take exception to those who class all American accents as "whiney"
My kids,(born and bred in Murca) do not sound the least bit whiney, having been broken of that when they were toddlers.

Does it count if I voted for my 'native' accent! LOL

And I think you will find if you listen closely, regions in the US have variations on their theme. In Oregon and the Pacific Northwest anyway, most have a similar accent, but here, where many settlers were from the South, the native Wallowa County speakers have a bit of a twang! I was thrilled! Ah fit rhight in!

I like the French, lovely cheese, bread and wine, shame about the reputation!

Kate, you need to meet my Sister In Law, the queen of the whiney! She can whine for America!

Exception noted.

But you gotta agree that the imposition of rigged elections on other countries is like so totally uncool that it sucks majorly.
